I have been making these ornaments for friends and family members for years. I usually make one in someone's favorite color - or the color scheme of their holiday decor - and hang it from the outside of their present. What a personal (and beautiful!) way to show you care!

Instructions:
In order to create these ornaments, you may want to watch the Snowflake Ornament Video.
Siam and Clear Crystal Ornament:
- Put the following on an "arm" of the snowflake: 3mm silver round bead, 6x8mm crystal rondelle, Kenyan bead, 6x8mm crystal rondelle, petal bead cap, Siam barrel bead, petal bead cap, 6x8mm crystal rondelle, Kenyan bead, crystal rondelle. Make a simple loop to close the "arm".
- Repeat step 1 on the arm directly opposite the arm just completed.
- On the remainder of the arms, you will put the following: 3mm silver round bead, petal bead cap, Siam barrel bead, petal bead cap, 6x8mm crystal rondelle, Kenyan bead, 6x8mm crystal rondelle, petal bead cap, Siam barrel bead, petal bead cap. Make a simple loop to close the arm.
Clear Crystal, Pearl and Gunmetal Ornament:
- Put the following on an "arm" of the snowflake: 3mm gunmetal round bead, petal bead cap, 10mm glass pearl, petal bead cap, small leaf bead cap, barrel bead, small leaf bead cap, petal bead cap, 10mm glass pearl, petal bead cap, 3mm gunmetal round bead. Make a simple loop to close the "arm".
- Repeat step 1 on the arm directly opposite the arm just completed.
- On the remainder of the arms, you will put the following: 3mm gunmetal round bead, small leaf bead cap, barrel bead, petal bead cap, 10mm glass pearl, petal bead cap, barrel bead, small leaf bead cap, 3mm gunmetal round bead. Make a simple loop to close the arm.
White Linen Crystal and Antique Gold Ornament:
- Put the following on an "arm" of the snowflake: 2 seed beads, 6/8mm white linen rondelle, seed bead, leaf bead cap, white linen round, bead cap, seed bead, 6x8mm white linen rondelle, 2 seed beads. Make a simple loop to close the "arm".
- Repeat step 1 on all arms of the ornament.
Metallic Purple and Antique Brass Ornament:
- Put the following on an "arm" of the snowflake: 3mm antique brass round, 6x8mm rainbow rondelle, antique brass spacer, 6x8mm rainbow rondelle, scalloped bead cap, metallic plum round, scalloped bead cap, 6x8mm rainbow rondelle, antique brass spacer, 6x8mm rainbow rondelle, 3mm antique brass round. Make a simple loop to close the "arm".
- Repeat step 1 on all arms of the ornament.
Red Coral, Clear Crystal and Silver Ornament:
- Put the following on an "arm" of the snowflake: 3mm silver round, small scalloped bead cap, red teardrop (turned so small end is inside bead cap), fluted bead cap, scalloped bead cap, 8x10mm crystal rondelle, scalloped bead cap, fluted bead cap, red teardrop (turned so larger side is inside fluted bead cap), small scalloped bead cap. Make a simple loop to close the "arm".
- Repeat step 1 on the arm directly opposite the arm just completed.
- On the remainder of the arms, you will put the following: 3mm silver round bead, small scalloped bead cap (turned so small end is inside bead cap), fluted bead cap, 8x10mm crystal rondelle, fluted bead cap, red teardrop (turned so larger side is inside fluted bead cap), small scalloped bead cap. Make a simple loop to close the arm.
