Wing It Necklace

Create beautiful bead caps from filigree angel wings! Flank the ends of a large pendant or focal bead setting it asymmetrically between three strands of chain.

Instructions:

1. Cut the three different chains into the two following lengths: 7”and 17”.

2. To “mold” the angel wings into be caps, begin by gently folding the wings in half using the bail making pliers or round nose pliers so that if fits over the end of your pendant.

3. The ends of the wings will overlap slightly around the ends of the pendant.

4. Using any of the mentioned tools gently bend and manipulate the wings over the top and around the sides until desired result has been met.

5. Repeat Steps 2-4 for the other end.

6. Cut a piece of copper wire about 6” wrapping loop on one end and then dropping a 8mm round, “end cap”, pendant, “end cap”, 8mm round.

7. Wrap a loop at the end and trim any excess wire.
