About This Project

Animal print leather blanks separated by an array of beaded eye pins to create a different look. Techniques used in this project, hole punching and snap setting.

    Leopard Print Cuff
  1. Cut the leather blank in half width wise and trim each piece to 3 1/2" in length. Set aside.
  2. On an eye pin, drop a wavy disc, Czech Glass Nugget Bead, wavy disc and make a rosary loop.
  3. Layout the two leopard blanks and the beaded eye pins on your work surface to determine the spacing of the beaded units between the blanks.
  4. Mark the placement on the back of the blank with a pen, about 1/8" from the edge, punch the hole for the jump ring.
  5. Open a jump ring and slip into the hole, add the eye pin and close. Repeat until you have added the eye pins to each side of the leather cuff to attach the two pieces.
  6. For the snap placement, again mark the back side of the blank with a pen about 1/2" from the edge and center.
  7. Punch the hole and set the 24L snap to complete the bracelet.

    Zebra Print Cuff
  8. Cut the leather blank in half width wise and trim each piece to 3 1/2" in length. Set aside.
  9. On an eye pin, drop a TierraCast seed bead, Czech glass teardrop, point first, TierraCast seed bead, Czech glass bottom first, seed bead make a rosary loop. Make (3) in this pattern and (2) the opposite direction on the teardrops.
  10. Layout the two zebra blanks and the beaded eye pins on your work surface to determine the spacing of the beaded units between the blanks.
  11. Mark the placement on the back of the blank with a pen, about 1/8" from the edge, punch the hole for the jump ring.
  12. Open a jump ring and slip into the hole, add the eye pin and close. Repeat until you have added the eye pins to each side of the leather cuff to attach the two pieces.
  13. For the snap placement, again mark the back side of the blank with a pen about 1/2" from the edge and center.
  14. Punch the hole and set the 24L snap to complete the bracelet.
