Description
Owls, a symbol of wisdom, are so popular right now! The antique brass finish gives this piece a vintage look but the construction gives it a very modern vibe. Because this necklace is so long, the owl dangle is actually optional, so this necklace can just be worn as a wire wrapped chain necklace!

Instructions:
Cut 7 pieces of chain that have 9 links each.
Pick up a 6mm round glass bead on an eye pin. Make a simple loop. Repeat this process until you have a total of 18 6mm glass links.
Pick up a 12mm crystal rondelle on an eye pin. Make a simple loop. Repeat this process until you have a total of 9 crystal links.
Attach 2 5mm gunmetal jump rings to the bar portion of the heart toggle. Make sure the jump rings are secure. Attach a 6mm gunmetal jump ring to those 2 jump rings.
Attach a 6mm gunmetal jump ring to the curved portion of the heart toggle. Attach the jump ring to a 5 link piece of chain. Close the jump ring. Repeat.
Open a loop on a 6mm glass round. Attach the loop to the owl pendant. Close the loop.
Open a 6mm gunmetal jump ring. Attach it to the glass round added in step 6. Attach it to a crystal rondelle link. Close the jump ring.
Open a 6mm gunmetal jump ring. Attach it to the crystal rondelle added in step 7 then to a 6mm glass round. Close the jump ring.
Open the other loop on the 6mm glass round added in step 8. Attach it to the 6mm gunmetal jump ring hanging from the bar portion of the toggle. Close the loop.
Open the loop on a 6mm glass round. Attach it to one of the 5 link pieces of chain added in step 5. Close the link.
Open a jump ring. Attach it to the 6mm round added in step 10. Add a crystal rondelle. Close the jump ring.
Open a jump ring. Attach it to the crystal rondelle added in step 11. Add a 6mm round. Close the jump ring.
Open the other loop on the 6mm round added in step 12. Attach it to a 9 link piece of chain.
Repeat steps 10 through 13 to add drops and connect chain. When you have attached the last 6mm glass round, attach it to the other 5 link segment of chain added in step 5.
You will then slip the key portion of the toggle through the heart portion to attach the owl dangle. You can also wear this necklace without the charm dangle if you just want a simple wire wrapped chain necklace.

Glass Bead Strand, 6mm, Tanzanite AB (18 pieces)
Chinese Crystal Rondelle Bead Strand, Dorado, 9x12mm (9 pieces)
Antique Brass Lock and Key Toggle Clasp, 19mm
Antique Brass Fancy Cable Chain By The Foot, 4x5mm (about 9 inches)
Antique Brass Plated 2 Inch Eye Pins, 21 Gauge, Bag of 10 (27 pieces)
Gunmetal 6mm Open Jump Rings, Recycled Copper (21 pieces)
Gunmetal Plate Jump Rings, Open, Bag of 10, 5mm, 20 Gauge (2 pieces)

Who Gives a Hoot Necklace
The picture doesn't show how beautiful this necklace is. I changed the colors to crystal and garnet what a beautiful color combination... Just in time for January's birthdays.
