What is composite turquoise? Composite turquoise is not a natural turquoise stone, but a product that has been constructed by pulverizing poorer grades of turquoise to a dust and then bonding the dust with a resin. Our composite turquoise beads are marked as such. Other stones in this section are indeed turquoise, but are dyed to create some bright and unusual colors.
