Totally Twisted Ring
I love turning beads into rings! Playing with our new copper Artistic Wire and our new 18mm Twist bead, I came up with a ring design that makes a twist bead even more twisted!

Instructions:
Cut between 2.5 and 3 feet of wire. Place the Twist bead on the center of your piece of wire. Bring both pieces up across the bead so they meet in the middle. Twist them around each other once so your right wire becomes your left and vice versa. Bring both pieces of wire down the side of the bead. Place the bead on the ring mandrel with the wires running down the side. You want to begin wrapping your ring one size above the desired size. I wrapped mine at a size 8 so it would be a size 7 when finished. Wrap the wires 3 times around the mandrel so you create a band that has 6 pieces of wire. Make sure your wires end up on opposite sides of the bead. Take the ring off the mandrel. Wrap the excess wire 4-5 times around the "band" you created. Use your Nipper tool to trim excess wire. Use your Crimper to tuck ends. Repeat that process on the other side of the ring to finish.

Swarovski Crystal Twist Bead, 18mm, Crystal Copper (1 piece)
Artistic Wire Spool, 20 Gauge, Bare Copper Colored Copper Wire(2.5-3 feet)
Black Plastic Ring Mandrel
Nipper Tool
Micro Crimper Tool

I love this design! I am a fused glass jewelry artist and just tried this wire wrap with a piece of my fused glass and it turned out absolutely stunning.
It is so simple yet can be elegant, playful, or casual depending on what you choose to use as your focal. With your wrap there are no limits to what you can use.
