Shanna, one of our Auntie's Beads Designers, gave me this idea. She had made this bracelet in a single strand and said she wanted to do one that wrapped around her wrist. Next thing I know was obsessed with the idea and made many!

Step-by-step project instructions, as well as the materials and tools list, are below.

Note: View the Crimp Ends Video to learn how to attach crimp ends for this bracelet).
  1. Cut a piece of leather in 10" in length.
  2. Center the Slide onto the middle of the leather, tying an overhand knot on either side of the slide.
  3. Subtract the measurement of the hook and eye clasp from the finished length and cut the leather accordingly.
  4. Add the crimp ends according to the video or by inserting the leather end and mashing the middle channel with chain nose pliers.
    Single Wrap:
  5. Cut a piece of leather in 26" in length.
  6. Center the Slide onto the middle of the leather, tying an overhand knot on either side of the slide.
  7. For this one to wrap twice for a 7 1/2" bracelet, allow about 9" of leather from the knot on each side, that is accounting for the hook and eye as well. You may want to wrap around your wrist before cutting just to ensure that this is a correct fit.
  8. Add the crimp ends according to the video or by inserting the leather end and mashing the middle channel with chain nose pliers.
    Double Wrap:
  9. Cut a piece of leather in 37" in length.
  10. Center the Slide onto the middle of the leather, tying an overhand knot on either side of the slide.
  11. For this one to wrap four times (double wrapped on both sides of the slide when worn) for a 7 1/2" bracelet, allow about 16"of leather from the knot on each side, that is accounting for the hook and eye as well. You may want to wrap around your wrist before cutting just to ensure that this is a correct fit.
  12. Add the crimp ends according to the video or by inserting the leather end and mashing the middle channel with chain nose pliers.
Note: for a more generous fit, add about a 1/4" to 1/2" each side which worked better for my wrist size, it is best to fit it before adding the crimp ends!
