Extra-Wide Clamp perfect for a flat kumihimo project!
This end clamp is perfect for a flat kumihimo band that I made using 2mm satin cord. The 20mm width fits the band perfectly. I also like the basketweave finish!

Interesting terminator
The basketweave pattern gives this terminator some interest. I plan to use it with laguna (blue green) 20mm wireluxe, it's the perfect size and complements it well.

very versatile
I buy these to use on my flat leather. They work on the 1/2 x 10 and the 5mm flat leather. I just cut the ends so that it fits and use a file to smooth out the edges, glue for extra hold, and clamp down with my pliers. It finishes it nicely and is fast and easy to add a clasp and little safety chain. The little basket weave helps me measure and keep my cuts straight. Love these.

Questions and Answers

Q: I am making crocheted button bracelets and need a claps of some sort. How would I use this one? Would I need a lobster claw and an "O" ring on the other end after I crimped one of these on each end ?
Asked by: Joy - 3/20/2014
A: If your crocheted bracelets are flat, this clasp would work perfectly. You would use an open jump ring or a split ring at each end and then you could attach the clasp of your choosing to the ends.

Q: i need yo know what size clamp i need for peotote bracelet that is 1.43 or 1 3/8 and how do you put it on? do you glue it or crimp it or both. thanks
Asked by: joy - 6/6/2015
A: You will need something about 30mm wide. In fact you can find the type of end where the peyote end slides into the finding. These clamp down by pressing the two sides down. I like to add a bit of glue just for security. Karla
