Okay you asked for it, so I did some practice pieces and I am ready for a Pearl Knotting Video! I am teaching it the way I learned it, from Nick Regine of Swarovski, with the Tri-Cord Thread Knot Tool from Beadalon. This, like many techniques, gets better with practice.

Is there a reason to knot pearls? Is it to stop the pearls from rubbing each other? Are knotted pearl bracelets/necklaces etc. more valueable? Is this what differentiates professional from ameteur grade jewellery? I love all your videos, please keep them coming! |

The video was interesting - I'd never seen this technique before. I think she did a great job teaching. However, there was only one close-up of the tool to see how it actually worked. I feel like this video could help me get on my way to knotting pearls. Thank you! |
