Okay you asked for it, so I did some practice pieces and I am ready for a Pearl Knotting Video! I am teaching it the way I learned it, from Nick Regine of Swarovski, with the Tri-Cord Thread Knot Tool from Beadalon. This, like many techniques, gets better with practice.
Is there a reason to knot pearls? Is it to stop the pearls from rubbing each other? Are knotted pearl bracelets/necklaces etc. more valueable? Is this what differentiates professional from ameteur grade jewellery? I love all your videos, please keep them coming!

Technique for pearl knotting video
Love your videos but this one was way too confusing

The video was interesting - I'd never seen this technique before. I think she did a great job teaching. However, there was only one close-up of the tool to see how it actually worked. I feel like this video could help me get on my way to knotting pearls. Thank you!

Questions and Answers
Q:Hello, Would you please tell me what size Clam Shell to use. I don't see any Sterling Silver ones for sale on your site, or did I over look them?
I've purchased the Knotter Tool so that I can start a pearl necklace.
Thank you so much for your excellently helpful videos. I miss the actual published list of all beads, findings and tools used with the page to purchase them embedded in the link.
A: We carry them in the 24kt gold, you can find them in the products listed below the video. I am not sure what happened to the sterling ones, I will inquire as to why we do not have them anymore and see if we can restock them. 14kt Gold Filled Clam Shell Tip GF/2000 Size: 04mm x 07mm
