Summer in Santa Fe Bracelet

As a kid, my family used to spend a lot of time in Santa Fe. I think that is why I am so attracted to coral, turquoise, and silver. This bracelet was inspired by my love of the Southwest and my love of Miyuki multi bead mixes!

Shanna Steele, Auntie's Beads Designer

Instructions:

1. Cut 3 pieces of beading wire measuring about 10 inches each.

2. String a small seed bead and a crimp bead toward one end of a piece of beading wire. Run it through one of the outside loops on your 3 strand clasp then back through the seed and crimp beads. Crimp.

3. String your beads as follows: 1 inch of seed beads and a Bali dotted bead. Repeat this process until you have used 5 of your Bali beads.

4. String one more inch of seed beads, followed by a crimp bead and a small seed bead. Run your wire through the corresponding loop on the other end of the clasp, then back down through the seed bead, crimp bead, and a few more seed beads. Crimp. Cut excess wire.

5. Repeat steps 2 through 4 to complete the other outside strand.

6. String a small seed bead and a crimp bead toward one end of a piece of beading wire. Run it through the inside (or middle) loop on your 3 strand clasp then back through the seed and crimp beads. Crimp.

7. String ¼ of an inch of seed beads followed by a flower bead. Next, repeat the following pattern 5 times: ¾ of an inch of seed beads followed by a flower bead.

8. String another ¼ inch of seed beads followed by a crimp bead and a small seed bead. Run your wire through the middle loop on the other side of the clasp then back through the small seed bead, crimp bead, and a few nearby seed beads. Crimp. Cut excess wire.
