Splash of Silver Earrings
I love earrings I can just throw on with anything and everything; these earrings are just that. Wear them when you want just a little splash of silver dangling from your ears.

Instructions:
1. On a headpin, pick up the following: bead cap, 8mm rondelle, bead cap. Make a loop. Wrap the wire and trim the excess.
2. Open a jump ring. Attach the dangle you made in step 1 to the jump ring. Attach the jump ring to the round link. Close the jump ring.
3. Open a jump ring. Attach the jump ring to the other side of the round link. Attach the jump ring to the rectangle link. Close the jump ring.
4. Open a jump ring. Attach the jump ring to the other side of the rectangle link. Close the jump ring.
5. Open a jump ring. Attach the jump ring to the loop on the ear wire. Close the jump ring.
6. Repeat steps 1 through 5 to create your other earring.
Materials and Tools Needed:
Bright Rhodium Hammered Round Link, 11mm (2 pieces)
Bright Rhodium Hammered Flat Rectangle Link, 8 x 14mm (2 pieces)
Bright Rhodium Hammered Bead Cap, 6mm (4 pieces)
Swarovski Crystal, 8mm Faceted Round Rondelle, Crystal Silver Shade (2 pieces)
Silver Plate Jump Rings, Bag of 10, 5mm, 20 Gauge (8 pieces)
1 1/2 Inch Silver Head Pins, 22 Gauge, Bag of 10 (2 pieces)
Sterling Silver Earwire with 2 mm Ball, Bag of 10 (1 pair)

These earrings are by far the most popular and most requested ones I've ever made. The design is simple but flashy, and they go with anything from jeans and a tee to what my mother always called "dressy dresses." Both of my daughters asked for a pair after they saw the ones I had for sale at my first jewelry show, and I've already had several requests to make these for Christmas gifts this year. |
