Sirens of the Sea Necklace Project
There is something mystical and majestic about the Sirens of the Sea! I thought it only fitting to pair the mermaid pendant I made using the collage papers and glass tiles with beautiful glass pearls in Champagne!

- After your pendant has cured you are ready to assemble the necklace. Tip: when working with a multi slide lock pendant, I like to keep it clasped so to keep the crimping confusion to a minimum!
- The middle strand will hold the pendant. Cut a 22" piece of beading wire and secure one end with a bead stopper or a piece of tape, stringing the following onto the wire, 6mm pearl, 12mm pearl, 6mm pearl, (3) 12mm pearls, 6mm pearl, (3) 12mm pearls, 6mm pearl, (3) 12mm pearls, 6mm pearl, (3) 12mm pearls, 6mm pearl, (3) 12mm pearls, 6mm pearl, (2) 12mm pearls, the pendant and then repeat the pattern backwards ending into a 6mm pearl. Tape the end and set aside.
- This will be the bottom strand. Cut a 20" strand of beading wire, secure one end as above and string the following onto the strand: 6mm pearl, (3) 8mm pearls and so on for a total of (17) sets of (3) 8mm pearls, ending in a 6mm pearl. Tape the end and set aside.
- This will be the top strand. Cut a 24" piece of beading wire, secure one end as above and string (97) 6mm glass pearls. This time crimp the free end into the top ring on one side of the slid lock clasp, by flat crimping with chain nose pliers.
- Crimp the other end into the corresponding loop on the opposite side of the slide lock clasp as above.
- Crimp middle strand, the 12mm pearl strand with the pendant into the middle loops of the slide lock clasp as above.
- Crimp bottom strand, the 8mm pearl strand into the bottom loops of the slide lock clasp as above to complete the necklace.

12mm Glass Pearl Bead Strand, Crystal Champagne- 1 strand
Dome Glass Tile Pendant, 30x40mm- 1pc
Gold Plated Glue-on Bail, Large- 1pc
Collage Sheet, Mermaids, 30x40mm Oval
3D Crystal Lacquer, 2 Oz Bottle
Gold plated 3-strand slide lock clasp, 21mm- 1pc
