End cap chain crimp
These little crimps are worth their weight in gold. Using them gives a clean finish to your chain. Very professional looking.

Questions and Answers

Q: Can this be used on leather cord? If so what size?
Asked by: Donna - 10/1/2013
A: No, this crimp end cap is for beading chain only. Our Crimp Ends and Cord Ends page can assist you in finding crimp ends that will be good for use with leather as each individual product has information on what it's best used with.

Q: Hi Karla, Love, love, love reading your answers to questions and the videos you make. All to help people have success and fun while beading. Thank you so much. My question is whether or not these crimp ends could 'possibly' be used on .018 Beadalon Wire? If not, is there any way to real easily crimp the ends of wire. My hands are old and don't have enough pressure sometimes and my ends just let loose! 8-( Thanks again for your time that you take to research and answer our questions. Respectfully, Mary Ann
Asked by: Mary Parker - 4/10/2015
A: I have used them before on beading wire, especially when using them to make earrings, where I didn't have a lot of weight on the wire. If you are having trouble with crimping due to strength of your hands, you may want to just flat crimp. I would do this with chain nose pliers so that you have a good flat surface to work with. I demonstrate this in the following video:

Thank you for the kind words and I hope this information will help you out!
