Q:Hi Karla, Love, love, love reading your answers to questions and the videos you make. All to help people have success and fun while beading. Thank you so much.
My question is whether or not these crimp ends could 'possibly' be used on .018 Beadalon Wire? If not, is there any way to real easily crimp the ends of wire. My hands are old and don't have enough pressure sometimes and my ends just let loose! 8-(
Thanks again for your time that you take to research and answer our questions.
A: I have used them before on beading wire, especially when using them to make earrings, where I didn't have a lot of weight on the wire. If you are having trouble with crimping due to strength of your hands, you may want to just flat crimp. I would do this with chain nose pliers so that you have a good flat surface to work with. I demonstrate this in the following video: http://www.auntiesbeads.com/How-to-Use-Crimp-Beads-Video_p_4166.html Thank you for the kind words and I hope this information will help you out!
