Silver Plated Bead Bandit.

How often have you spent time and money working on a piece only to have to end your beautiful work with an unattractive crimp bead? With The Bead Bandit we can hide the Crimp bead or eliminate it altogether. Here's how it works ... the Bead Bandit comes in 2 parts. The collet and the cover. To begin, we unscrew the collet from the cover and slide onto your stringing material. Now, there are 2 ways to finish your jewelry piece. The 1st way is to tie a knot, cut excess and screw the cap into place. The 2nd way to finish off is with a crimp Bead. Slide the collet onto wire, add crimp bead and crimp with your traditional crimping pliers. Once the bead has been crimped, cut away the access and screw the cap into place.

Bead Bandit
The bandits are great; easy to use and gives a more finished look to the necklace or bracelet. I will be ordering these again.

Great item!
I have ordered these twice. They really dress up a piece. I have had a bit of trouble with them coming unscrewed but that is easily fixed with a drop of glue. Would like to buy them in other finished.

Bead Bandit
Wow! The ease of use as well as finishing my jewelry to professional appearing pieces makes me wonder why I have not tried these before. Actually, it was Aunties sales that urged me to purchase these. I can also eliminate the need for wire guardians and crimp covers now. I am sold on this product.

Love, love, love!
I ordered just a few my first time around. After I received them I went right back online and bought the rest of the stock! Can't wait until they come back in again. I'll go for a 3rd order of them. They are so easy to use and leave such a clean finish to bracelets and necklaces! Love them!

Bead Bandits
I love these little fellows & they for sure do their job so wonderfully. I do wish they came in silver filled as I am afraid to sell them & have them go that horrible shade that so many silver plated items do. I would like to hear from others as to how they wear,(last). Heather

Q: What type of glue would you suggest using on the threads of a bead bandit before screwing on the second part of the bead bandit, and would use a crimp tube or a crimp bead on the end of the wire? Thanks! Kimberly
Asked by: Kimberly - 4/7/2015
A: I use crimp tubes so that is what I would suggest, however I am sure the crimp bead would be sufficient too. You can use a dab of Hypo Cement or Zap a gap, if you use the later, you will not be able to unscrew it if you make a mistake as with Hypo cement it does not bond instantly.

Q: What is the measurement of the Bead Bandit? I currently use 2x2 crimp beads so I'd like to know how they compare in size. Are they sold as a single item (1 complete piece) or as a pair (2 complete pieces)? IE: if I'm finishing a single strand necklace how many would I order? Can multiple strands of .015 wire be used on a single Bead Bandit?
Asked by: T - 4/26/2015
A: They measure 10X4MM. You need two to complete a bracelet, one for each end. Only one wire will fit into the findings hole.
