Shanna Style Necklace

This choker is very Shanna style! The toggle is in the front because Shanna always does things in her own unique way. The copper and garnet look good with her light skin tone and red hair. Plus, if you have a short hairstyle like Shanna (or like to wear your hair up), you can hang an extra charm off the back for a cute effect. Happy birthday Shanna!

Instructions:

Step 1. Use your nipper tool to cut a 20” piece of beading wire. You can adjust this length as you see fit- this piece looks great as a longer necklace as well.

Step 2. String your beads in the following order: 12mm garnet Czech glass bead, 6mm crystal copper rondelle, 12mm garnet Czech glass bead, rococo square, 12mm garnet Czech glass bead, copper puffed coin bead, 8mm crystal copper round bead, 8mm garnet bicone, 8mm crystal copper round bead, filigree bead cap, 8mm garnet bicone, 6mm crystal copper rondelle, and 8mm bicone.

Step 3. String your Harvest Moon 4mm bicone crystal mix in any order you wish. I strung about 5 inches worth. Repeat step 2.

Step 4. String your wire through a crimp bead, around one end of your toggle, then back through your crimp bead. Pull it tightly. Crimp your crimp bead and use your pliers to squeeze a copper crimp cover closed over it (hint: leave a little extra wire to string back through the first few beads. This will help strengthen the necklace and hide the trimmed end).

Step 5. Repeat step 4 with the other end of your toggle.

Step 6. Use your pliers to open a copper colored jump ring, hang a copper eternity link from it, and close it around the ring part of your toggle. Repeat this process with your copper filigree cross.

Step 7. If you wish, use a jump ring to hang another eternity link (or any matching charm you like) from the back of the necklace.

Step 8. Wear it with your favorite top and feel confident!

Copper Filigree Bead Cap, 6 x 11mm
Copper Puffed Coin Beads with Pattern, 12mm
Antique Copper Plate Toggle, Large Leaf
Czech Glass Round Bead, Garnet, 12mm
Swarovski Crystal, 4mm Bicone, Bag of 48, Harvest Moon Mix
Swarovski Crystal, 6mm Faceted Round Rondelle, Crystal Copper
Antique Copper Plate Eternity Link, 17mm
Swarovski Crystal, 8mm Bicone, Garnet
Swarovski Crystal, 8mm Round, Faceted, Crystal Copper
