Project Description:

As a child I may have been a bit of a rock hound. Oh, I loved rocks, and I still do! My dad said he still remembers me picking up a pretty quartz rock on a walk and holding it tight in my fist as if my new found treasure would get away. I'm all about doing something a bit different, and like my many rock collections, not all things are alike. So utilizing different gemstone connectors to create this bracelet was a given. This is the way I roll, but of course you can match them as you like, but with just a few jump rings and tools you can create a stunning rock collection of your own.

Instructions:
  1. Lay out the connectors on your work surface in the following order: round purple quartz; black agate triangle; turquoise freeform; labradorite freeform; pink jasper freeform; calsilica pear.
  2. Using two pairs of chain/flat nose pliers open a jump ring and connect the bar of the toggle to the round purple quartz and close.
  3. Open another jump ring slipping on a second and attach to the other side of the purple quartz and close.
  4. Join the purple link to the black agate with one more jump ring.
  5. Repeat this process, joining each link with one jump ring in the order you laid out on your work surface, using three jump rings to join the pink jasper and calsilica link together.
  6. Add the other half of the toggle clasp to the calsilica link to compete the bracelet.
  7. I am using an adjustable toggle in this project. It may not be necessary for the extra jump rings at the both ends. You can adjust to suit the length you desire.

Rating Beautiful Connectors!

I received my order of a bunch of these connectors today. They are really nice! I love them! I'm going to copy Karla's bracelet and then try to fashion a necklace out of some of the connectors. Thanks Karla, for all you do!
