Description
Peyote Tube Bead Bracelet with Swarovski Crystals
Well I think I outdid myself! This is probably one of my favorite projects to date! It is a little time consuming but worth it! Whip up some peyote tube beads and create your own masterpiece. These peyote tubes combined with crystals are hot!
Karla Schafer, Auntie's Beads Designer
Instructions:
1.In order to learn the Peyote Stitch Technique, watch the
Peyote Stitch Video.
2.The tubes are 8 beads wide and make them 6 rows long. You will need to make 7 tube beads.
3.To create a tube simply fold the tube in half and zip them together. The edges will fit together as a puzzle.
4.Tie your thread by using the tail thread and the working thread in a square knot. Work the thread ends back into the work and trim with the nipper tool.
5.After the tubes are complete, then simply string the bracelet as follows.
6.Cut the beading wire 4” greater than desired length.
7.String a seed bead, crimp and a seed bead, and run the wire through the loop of the bar and back through the seed beads and crimp.
8.Flat crimp using the chain nose pliers.
9.String a bicone, peyote tube, bicone, peyote tube, etc until you reach the end, ending in a bicone.
10.String a seed bead, crimp, 2 seed beads, the other half of the toggle and 2 seed beads.
11.Run the wire back through all the beads and the bicone.
12.Flat crimp the crimp bead using the chain nose pliers and trim the excess with the nipper tool.

Gloria
Beautiful bracelet. I've been making some of these tube beads and wondering how I could best use them. Now I know I want to make a bracelet similar to your bracelet. Thank you!

NEED VIDEO!
This is a gorgeous bracelet but I am one of those people that needs visual directions as opposed to reading them. I can't grasp the directions as well as when I watch a video. I give the rating a 4 star because it's a stunning bracelet. Hopefully one day there will be a video to go with it so I can attempt this awe inspiring piece.
Editor's Note:
This video shows you how to create those beautiful peyote stitch tube beads:
