To Make Your Pendant:

 

1.  On a paper plate, pour out a quarter-size amount of DG3 Art Gel.  Add one drop of red food coloring and use a plastic spoon to mix it together thoroughly, until the color is evently dispersed throughout the glaze.  This will take about two minutes of mixing. 

 

2.  Use your plastic spoon to carefully fill your pendant with colored glaze.  Be sure not to overfill the pendant.

 

3.  Use your nipper tool to cut-off the ring on top of your pewter cross pendant.  Then, use your tweezers (or your fingers) to carefully drop your charm, your pewter daisy link, and your (2) bali square spacer beads into the glaze in the arrangement pictured.  Allow your pendant to dry overnight.

 

To Make Your Necklace:

 

1.  Use your nipper tool to cut about 20 inches off of your leather coil. 

 

2.  On six individual headpins, place:

(1) 4mm silver round and (1) 8mm siam crystal

(1) 4mm silver round and (1) 8mm siam crystal

(1) 4mm silver round and (1) 12mm bali bead

(1) 4mm silver round and (1) 12mm bali bead

(1) bali honeycomb

(1) bali honeycomb

 

3.  Above each of the bead(s) in step 2, use your wire looping pliers to make a small loop and then trim excess wire with your nipper tool.

 

4.  On a 6mm split ring, place one of each of the beaded headpin combinations you made in step 2/3, to total 3.  Repeat, so that you have a beaded split ring for each side of the pendant.

 

5.  Use your nipper tool to cut 3 inches of Artistic wire.  One inch off center of your leather, begin coiling around the two piece of leather together.  Coil around 6 times (this may take some practice if you are new to wire wrapping).  Trim the wire with your nipper tool.  Add one of your beaded split rings and then repeat the wire coiling process around both pieces of leather to hold the beaded split ring in place. 

 

6.  Add your pendant and repeat step 5.  Add a crimp end to one end of your leather and a crimp hook to the other and crimp.  Both pieces of leather fit nicely inside the 3mm crimp ends together; use your tweezers if you are having difficulty fitting them.
