This product is used to keep my kumihimo bead-threads from tangling as I braid. I would rate this as a GOOD product.
They do their intended job but I find their appearance to be inconsistent (wobble-y bumps, difficult to snap open/closed one-handed) and those attributes do affect their performance.

I discovered Kumihimo bead braiding a few months ago and, since then, have become obsessed with it. I ordered 3 packs of these so I can prepared my bobbins in advance for several projects. They fit the bill quite well for 8/0 beads for a 24 inches or less necklace without having to add beads. For anything longer or for larger beads the bigger bobbins are more practical.

These thread bobbins are super handy. I use them when I macramé or if needed as I'm hand knotting multiple strand necklaces or bracelets. They keep your cords/threads from tangling and they're easy to work with.

Making kumihimo style bracelets the bobbins work well. they keep the threads secure and the thread release easily from the bobbin as I work.

These are a must have!
Wrap up the threads in these little bobbins and you're off.
The rubber disks hold the thread securely, and as you work it lets the thread flow freely out so there is no need to open and close the bobbins as you work, which means you can work faster. They also come in diferent sizes to hold longer thread.I don't know if Aunties Beads has both sizes but the ones I purchased work with embroidery thread, ribbon and the Rattaill and hold 4 yards just fine.
