Gold and glass pearls are so hot right now, I wanted to create a necklace using both. Matte gold pairs well with blues and antique brass while red and brown works well with bright gold. I love the depth and layered look of this necklace!

Instructions:
- Using memory wire shears, cut your chain so you have 2 segments measuring 5" each and 1 segment measuring 6". Cut 3 pieces of beading wire measuring about 10" each.
- Attach 2 jump rings to one end of the 6" piece of chain. Make sure the jump rings are securely closed. Attach 2 jump rings to the other end of the same piece of chain. Make sure the jump rings are securely closed.
- Attach 2 jump rings to one end of the 5" piece of chain. Make sure the jump rings are securely closed. Attach 2 jump rings to the other end of the 5" piece of chain. Attach those 2 jump rings to a loop on the 2-strand slide lock clasp. Close the jump rings.
- Repeat step 3 with the other piece of 5" chain, attaching it to the same loop on the other side of the slide lock clasp.
- Attach 2 jump rings to an empty loop on the slide lock clasp. Make sure the jump rings are secure.
- Repeat step 5 on the other empty loop on the slide lock clasp.
- String a crimp bead toward one end of a piece of beading wire. Run the beading wire through the 2 jump rings attached to a 5" piece of chain then back down through the crimp bead. Crimp. Use your chain nose pliers to apply a crimp cover, if using.
- String a glass pearl followed by a seed bead.
- Repeat step 8 twelve more times. You should have a total of 13 glass pearls.
- String a glass pearl and a crimp bead. Run your wire through the 2 jump rings on the other 5" piece of chain then back down through the crimp bead and glass pearl. Crimp. Apply crimp cover. Cut excess wire.
- String a crimp bead on a piece of beading wire. Run the wire through the 2 jump rings attached to the slide lock clasp then run the wire back down through the crimp bead. Crimp. Apply crimp cover.
- String a glass pearl followed by a seed bead.
- Repeat step 12 nine more times. You should have a total of 10 glass pearls.
- String a glass pearl and a crimp bead. Run your wire through both jump rings at one end of the 6" piece of chain then back through the crimp bead and glass pearl. Crimp. Apply crimp cover. Cut excess wire.
- Repeat steps 11 through 14 to string the remainder of your pearls and attach them from the clasp to the 6" piece of chain.
