Join me for another Karla Kam Rewind Video! Our Rewind Videos are projects that we have posted previously or that were archived but you all wanted to see it as a video. The Magatama RAW Bracelet is a take off of a bracelet I did that we don't have on the site anymore, but was requested by a customer. After exchanging a couple of emails and a picture of a piece she made, I remembered how I did it and thought I would use the Magatamas! It came out so different but I love it! The use of the Czech glass drop beads in the original piece is a much "fluffier" look, but the technique is the same, Right Angle Weave!
I have made many of these bracelets now and each time it was great fun and was well received as a gift. Very good video.

I enjoyed making this bracelet. All I needed was Karla's video and it made it a piece of cake. I will be doing more of her items. Thanks for the videos, Karla.

Questions and Answers
Q:I can't get my bracelet to lie flat - it keeps twisting. I think I may have switch left and right sides. Also, How do you get the 5th bead to stand up?
A: I am not sure why it is twisting, you say you may have switched left and right...when you do RAW your Right thread becomes your Left and vice versa. As for keeping the 5th bead standing, you need to make sure you have it in the up position before tightening the next stitch. Once you have tightened the stitch next to it, it should not move. Karla
