Artist Bio:
Laura Caruso says "The Vineyard holds most of my fond memories and a good deal of my heart. It provides me with inspiration for writing and jewelry design. I have spent each of my 40 summers on the Island and consider it my true "home". Beach combing, hiking and kayaking in the natural setting give me time to relax and unwind, but also think and design."
Laura says she is new to jewelry design, and she takes delight in letting her four year old "help" her make jewelry. Some of her favorite materials are leather, stone beads, sea glass, shells, and hemp.
We like her use of natural and leather cording as border, styling her work after Chan Luu. |

You really have to admire people who make jewellery. Not only do you have to have an eye for it, you also need patience and craftsmanship. MV Treasures and Laura have a style that I don’t see too often in jewellery. Any one of her pieces would make a great addition to your wardrobe not to mention a fantastic gift. |
