Love Bird Necklace
I made this necklace for myself a while back, even making my own crystal mix to match the image of the love bird in flight. It has been such a delight to me I thought I would share it with everyone. Enjoy!

Instructions:

1. Cut the image of the blue bird and pink flowers down so it fits nicely inside the pendant. Use Gem-Tac to adhere the image to the pendant.
2. Apply your DG3 gel. Make sure it is completely dry before you proceed to the next step.
3. On a headpin, pick up a leaf bead cap and your Montana 8mm round. Make a loop. Attach it to the hammered round link. Wrap the wire and trim the excess.
4. On a headpin, pick up a Fuchsia 6mm round. Make a simple loop. Attach it to the hammered link.
5. On a headpin, pick up a Light Colorado Topaz 5mm bicone. Make a simple loop. Attach it next to the crystal added in the last step.
6. On a headpin, pick up an Aqua 4mm round. Make a simple loop. Attach it next to the crystal added in the last step.
7. On a headpin, pick up a Rose 4mm bicone. Make a simple loop. Attach it next to the crystal added in the last step.
8. Repeat steps 4 through 7 to add your crystals to the other side of the hammered link.
9. Cut your chain so you have 2 pieces measuring 16.5 inches each. Make sure they are the exact same length.
10. Open a jump ring. Find the center link on each piece of chain. Attach your jump ring to the center links. Close the jump ring.
11. Open a jump ring. Attach it to the jump ring added in step 10. Attach it to the top loop on your pendant. Close the jump ring.
12. Open a jump ring. Attach it to the bottom loop on your pendant. Attach the hammered link to the jump ring, making sure that you keep your crystals in their proper order. Close the jump ring.
13. Open a jump ring. Attach it to one end of your necklace (you will add 2 pieces of chain to the jump ring). Add your trigger clasp. Close the jump ring.
14. Cut a piece of chain measuring about 2 inches in length. Repeat step 13, this time attaching your piece of chain to the jump ring.
15. On a headpin, pick up a Light Colorado Topaz 5mm bicone. Make a loop. Attach it to the end of the chain. Wrap the wire and trim the excess.
