I've bought two of these. They have beautiful colors and movement. My customers love them in a necklace.

Questions and Answers
Q: How do I measure a bead or pendant like this one that says 40x52mm. How do I figure out the size by these measurements ?
Asked by: - 11/11/2013 (Submit an answer)
A: It means that this pendant is 40 millimeters wide by 52 millimeters long. It takes about 26 millimeters to equal one inch, so this bead would be about one and a half inches wide and two inches tall.

Q: I want to make this into a necklace but I cant figure out how. Should I use ribbon or wire?
Asked by: - 2/24/2014 (Submit an answer)
A: That is largely up to you and is a personal choice. If you want to simply highlight the pendnat, I would use ribbon or suede to make a simple knot. You can use a pendant bail to hold the pendant in place and then string your beaded work. Or you can create your own beaded bail and string color coordinated seed beads, crystals or glass beads. I would not use a hard/craft wire to create a bail.

Q: Looking for suggestions for making this into a necklace. I see that one person (Cynthia) that reviewed the product says that she makes them into necklaces and I was wondering if she (or anyone) prefers using the bail and if so, which type as the top of the piece is pretty narrow. Also, do you prefer ribbon or some other type of necklace type?? I love the colors but not sure how I want to make it into a necklace. Any ideas or suggestions would be appreciated. Thanks!!
