I found this pattern thumbing through a Kumihimo Book, it is a flat braid with beads that sit just on the edge of the bracelet. We will be using rattail and S-Lon cord for this bracelet. This time we are going to be using the round disc
instead of the square disc
, as I mentioned before you can do flat braids with both types. Again this is not a hard project but one that you need to pay attention to as to where and when to drop the bead, because we want the bead to remain outside the braid not within it. I did this in a mono-tone color scheme in regards to the rattail
, I think for my next one I will play with contrasting colors in threads and beads! You should also try different types of beads, I used the cube seed beads
, but don't limit your yourself, try something different for a distinct look! Tips and Tricks
