So I thought, I have mastered the 8 warp Kumihimo patterns, it is time to step it up to 12 warp threads. Though I did find this to be a bit more difficult as in the flow and rhythm of it, the reward is well worth it. I will be using two colors of waxed cord for this 12 warp bracelet one color will be the accent color that forms a ridge on to the twisted pattern. So come along and give this a try!
Tips and Tricks
Bobbins maybe necessary to tame your threads due to the quantity and length.
Excellent explanations of why you do what! Makes braiding look natural and easy to do if one could just find the equipment to do it with! I've wasted a lot of time looking for the cords and the end caps, they're not produced fast enough to keep up with the demand!

Complexity made heavenly easy !!
This tutorial was fantastic! It made, what can be very confusing, totally comprehensible and easy to accomplish. What else this wonderful tutorial did for me, was to illuminate the fact that the "accent threads" are on the east and west parts of the kumihimo disk....this just made everything all fall together perfectly.....thank you so much for doing these great mentoring videos. :)

Questions and Answers
Q:Not a question, just a comment. I think you need to redo this video, one time you turned clockwise the next counter clockwise. When up with the right string one time and the they other way the next I was going crazy. I watched 3 times to make sure it wasn't me but sorry it was you. LOL So what is the right way?
A: It doesn't surprise me...it can happen. It doesn't matter as long as you are consistent through out the project. You will loose a bit of the detail, or ridge you get if you go the wrong way. Thanks! Karla

A: The rule of thumb for bracelets is 3x the length of the bracelet length. In this particular pattern I added a bit extra. So for instance you want a 7" bracelet; 3x7=21" but I would round that up to 24 to 30" . I feel it is better to have too much than not enough.
