About This Project

I love Keshi freshwater pearls, for that matter I like all freshwater pearls, I like to think of them as little hidden treasures from nature! I strung two strands of the pearls and added a gold pewter shell bead to represent where the little treasures come from. I easily added two strands to the EZ Crimp findings for a nice finish!

I will be using the EZ Crimp Finding and the Crimping Tool, so please view: How to use the EZ Crimp Finding and Tool.

  1. Cut (2) 10" pieces of the beading wire.
  2. Slip the ends of both pieces into the EZ Crimp Finding, using chain nose pliers to help guide if needed, crimping according to video.
  3. String about 7"of Keshi pearls onto each strand for a 7 1/2" finished bracelet, adding the shell bead to one strand after 3" of been strung.
  4. To end the bracelet, just feed the two strands into the other EZ Crimp Finding, using beading tweezers to pull the wires out of the finding loop and tighten, crimping as you did before.

Questions and Answers

Q: Hi again, Just curious since I can't find any Keshi freshwater pearls on your site, did you at one time carry them, are they just out of stock or you definitely won't be carrying them again? Thank you for always helping me with my questions.
Asked by: Mary Ann - 7/31/2015
A: Freshwater pearls in interesting sizes and shapes can be difficult to come by. When we do find them, we stock them. They are typically easier to find in the Spring and Summer, but will usually be a limited availability item.
