About This Project

The leather finding is actually the centerpiece of this simple but fun bracelet design. You will find this so easy to make, you will want to make one in every color!

  1. Cut 2 pieces of leather measuring about 12 inches each.
  2. Making sure your ends are aligned and evened, double up the leather and fold it over so you have four ends. Make an overhand knot. (Make sure your loop will fit over the flower clasp before you tighten the knot.)
  3. Cut the ends of the leather so that the straight portion of leather (the part after the knot) measures about 3 and 1/4 to 3 and 1/2 inches.
  4. Apply a dab of glue to the inside of the silver finding. Put your 4 strands of leather in the finding. You can either try to align them so the band is perfectly straight or mix them up for a more playful look.


Tools and Materials Needed:

2mm Round Leather Cord, Turquoise (about 24 inches)
Antique Silver Half Bracelet Finding with Flower, 13x58mm
Nipper Tool
Zap-a-Gap

Looks like a million bucks
I made this bracelet in 10 minutes or less. It is stunning and looks like something you would purchase out of a really expensive catalog. I suggest you measure the leather and make sure it is long enough to fit your wrist. I have a very small wrist and it was almost too small for me.
