Feeling Rosy Bracelet

These vintage style roses are hot, hot, hot right now! I like the black because it is just so versatile. I paired it with a seed bead mix and turquoise and black onyx to give it a colorful yet sophisticated feel.

Instructions:

1. Apply the E6000 to the back of the black rose. Adhere the rose to the top of the gunmetal filigree. Make sure the rose is centered so you have 3 open loops on either side of the rose. Allow the centerpiece 24 hours to dry. (Make sure you dry it rose side down.)

2. Cut your beading wire so you have 6 pieces measuring about 4 inches each.

3. String a crimp bead toward one end of a piece of beading wire. Run the wire through the central loop on the filigree on one side of the rose. Then run the wire back down through the crimp bead. Crimp using your chain nose pliers. (If you don’t want your bracelet to be snug, string a 3mm silver plated round bead next to the crimp bead.)

4. String your beads in the following order: 4mm onyx, silver plated spacer, 6mm turquoise, silver plated spacer.

5. Repeat step 4 two more times. Then add a 4mm onyx bead, 3mm silver plated round bead, and a crimp bead. Run your wire through the middle loop on one half of the clasp then back down through the crimp bead. Secure the crimp bead. Trim excess wire.

6. Repeat step 3, this time attaching your wire to a loop on the filigree above the piece of wire just added.

7. String a length of seed beads on your beading wire that is consistent with the length of beads on the middle strand. This will be about 2.5 inches of seed beads.

8. String a 3mm silver plated round bead and a crimp bead. Run your beading wire through the corresponding loop on the clasp then back down through the crimp bead and a few nearby beads. Crimp. Cut excess wire.

9. Repeat steps 6 through 8 to complete this side of the bracelet. Make sure you are stringing your beads below the middle wire (the one containing onyx and turquoise beads).

10. Repeat steps 3 through 9 to complete the other side.

Onyx Round Strand, 4 mm (8 pieces)
Miyuki Multi Bead Mix, Turquoise and Coral
Silver Plated Bali Style Bead with Roped Center, 4mm (12 pieces)
Silver Plated Round Silver Bead, 3mm, Bag of 25 (6 pieces for 7 inch bracelet; 12 pieces for 7.5 inch bracelet)
Silver Plated 3-Strand Slide Lock Clasp, 16 x 6mm
Crimp Beads, Bag of 50, 2 x 2mm (6 pieces)
Beadalon 49-strand Wire, 30 ft., .015 (about 24 inches)
Nipper Tool
Chain Nose Pliers
