Fashion Royalty Necklace I was so inspired by the Karla Kam Seed Bead Framed Crystal Earrings, I wanted to do a pendant! After completing the pendant, I was contemplating the design and came up with this very "Regal", as the inspiration project was aptly named, Channel inspired necklace with chain and pearls. Maybe I have been watching too much Rachel Zoe Project on TV...Nah! Instructions: Frame the Pendant: 1. View the video for the "how to". 2. Use 1 1/2yds of Fireline, 26 seed beads for each side and I would like you to go through the bead work twice before doing the half hitch knots keeping your tension tight. 3. For a bit of security, drop a few drops of ZAP-A-Gap on the corner and long edges of the pendant and slide the bead frame in place, careful not to glue yourself to the work. 4. Set aside. Construct the Necklace: 1. Cut (5) pieces of chain, 8 links long. 2. Cut an 8" piece of beading wire and crimp one end into the end of chain section using the Magical Crimp Forming Tool. 3. String the following: rondelle, pearl, seed bead, pearl, seed bead, pearl, rondelle, pearl, seed bead, pendant, seed bead, pearl, rondelle, pearl, seed bead, pearl, seed bead, pearl, rondelle. 4. Crimp the end into another section of chain. 5. String the following: rondelle, pearl, seed bead, pearl, seed bead, pearl, rondelle, pearl, rondelle, pearl, seed bead, pearl, seed bead, pearl, rondelle for a total of 4 beaded sections with chain sections in between until you connect to the beginning piece to complete the necklace. |
