About This Project

We liked the raw brass bracelets bangles so much that we added the swing top bracelets too. The blank swing top is just begging for embellishment. I used the Diamond Swing Top bracelet with a filigree and cabochon. However you could embellish them with crystal clay, flat backs, the list goes on and limited only to your imagination.

  1. Find a way to suspend your bracelet so that you can let your glue set without it tipping over. I used a ruler over a bowl.
  2. Place a small amount of E600 onto the center of the diamond top.
  3. Place the filigree within the glue until you have a bead of glue coming through the center hole of the filigree and let it set for a couple of hours. This will ensure the filigree will set before adding the cab.
  4. When you are satisfied that the filigree is properly set, add a drop of glue to the back of the cab and set it in the middle of the filigree, allowing it to dry several hours before wearing.
