Easy Breezy Necklace and Earrings It’s a hot Texas Summer, so sometimes I want to where jewelry that has punch but is a little light! So I thought of the perfect easy breezy necklace and earrings with all the glam and not the weight! These Chinese Crystal Beaded Beads have all the punch you need, accented by bicones and all on a delicate heart chain! Perfect for your summer soirées or just getting about town! Karla Schafer, Auntie’s Beads Designer Instructions: - Using the nipper tool, cut the chain to length. Cut (4) 1” or 5 link pieces and (2) 6 ¼” or 32 link pieces and set aside.
- Open an eye pin using the chain nose and round nose pliers and slip it on the end of (1) 6 ¼” piece of chain and close.
- Slip (3) bicones onto the eye pin, create a right angle over the top using the round nose pliers.
- Cut the wire just under ¾” and make a rosary loop using the round nose pliers.
- Open this loop and slip (1) 1” piece of chain and close.

Open and eye pin and slip it onto the 1" piece of chain in Step 5 and close. -
Slip (1) bicone, (1) beaded bead and (1) bicone onto an eye pin, create a right angle over the top as in Step 3. - Cut the wire just under ¾” and make a rosary loop using the round nose pliers.
- Open this loop and slip (1) 1” piece of chain and close.
- Repeat Steps 2-6 for the other side of the necklace.
- To complete the necklace, open a jump ring and add to one end of the 6 ¼” chain and close. Add another jump ring with clasp to the other piece.
- For the earrings, drop a bicone, beaded bead and a bicone on a head pin.
- Cut the wire just under ¾” and make a rosary loop using the round nose pliers.
- Open this loop and slip (1) 1” piece of chain and close.
- Open the earwire and slip it onto the chain and close.
- Repeat Steps 11-14 to complete the pair.
