About This Project

Easter is a special holiday for me, not for just the religious significance but also the family memories that it brings each year and as we make new ones. Re-visiting this necklace came from a customer question and I then remember this video I did using the Swarovski bicones and creating the cross. Though I have not made or thought of them for awhile, this seems to be the perfect time to resurrect, if you will, this cross pendant for our Easter Blessings!

  1. Please construct the Cross as shown in the video linked above in my description, making the last loop large enough to fit over the chain of the necklace.
  2. Slip on the heart charm, the cross pendant and the rose charm to complete the necklace.

Swarovski Crystal Xilion Bicone (5328) 6mm, Erinite, 10pc- 10pc
Sterling Silver Seamless Beads, 3mm, 25pc- 2pc
3 Inch Sterling Silver Head Pins, 22 Gauge, Piece- 1pc
Sterling Silver 2" Head Pins With 1.5mm Ball, 10pc- 2pc
Sterling Silver Filled Open Heart Charm, 8mm- 1pc
Silver Plated 8mm Rose Charm- 1pc
Silver Filled Finished Drawn Cable Chain, 18"
Round Nose Pliers
Chain Nose Pliers
Nipper Tool

Q: why is the video not playing for this project? i love this cross, and wanted to try making it but your video is not working hear at aunties bead or on you tube

A: Hmm...I can't get it to work on my end either. I will ask our video-grapher if he can take a look at the problem. I got this from YouTube:
