Earthy Eloquence Bracelet I love African Turquoise and it's been a while since I've used a gemstone or made a bracelet- so I thought I'd do both in one week! Instructions:
-
Use your nipper tool to cut two, three foot pieces of beading wire. -
This bracelet uses a technique called the Right Angle Weave (sometimes referred to as "RAW"). View our beading video displaying this technique here. If you are not familiar with this technique, I recommend viewing the video. -
To begin the bracelet, string eight seed beads on each piece of wire. Then string both pieces of wire through the same crystal round, but going in opposite directions. Then, on each piece of wire, string ten seed beads and then again string both pieces through a crystal round going in opposite directions. -
Next, string 12 seed beads on each piece of wire, and then string both through the same african turquoise square bead, but going in opposite directions. String twelve seed beads on each again, put both through the same crystal but in opposite directions and then string twelve more seed beads on each. -
Again, string both pieces of wire through the same african turquoise square bead, but going opposite directions. -
For our focal, place four seed beads on each piece of wire and then place a separate crystal on each piece of wire. Then place four more seed beads on each piece of wire. Then string both pieces of wire through the african turquoise round bead going in opposite directions for our center. -
Now simply complete the other half of the bracelet to match. To end the bracelet, crimp each of the four ends of wire to the two strand clasp using your chain nose pliers. |
