I recently starting wire crocheting, and I am finding that some of the ones i gave away are breaking at the clasp or where you twist it to put in the jump ring. Any ideas? I watched your video on how to. And i have 2 that have broke. Can you give me some ideas?

Great for left over beads
This is THE best video for making a crochet necklace. I always have countless leftover beads from previous projects and it's really amazing to see how they all somehow go together to make a beautiful piece. I have also mixed the silver and copper colored wires to give the piece a dramatic effect.

Questions and Answers
Q:how much wire does this take and, how long of necklace does it make?
A: There really is not any set rules for this piece. You work off of the spool for each strand. The version I did with 158 beads and 14 empty chain stitches in the video you may end up with a necklace between 18 to 24" depending on how tight or loose your stitches are. If you want it longer or shorter then adjust the amount of beads and/or the empty stitches. You can also stretch or scrunch up the finished piece to add or subtract length.

Q:am new to this am confused about size of wire and size of beads, trying to order everything now, thanks, gab bi are the v ery tiny beads good for necklaces?
A: This project is very forgiving so you can and should use a variety of beads in size and shape. I wouldn't suggest using a very tiny bead, as it may get lost in the chain stitch, not to say you cannot, but it all depends on the look you are going for. As for wire gauges, we suggest using a 26 ga or 28 ga wire.
