Charmed, I’m Sure Necklace
Perhaps this design is a spin on an old tradition; charms have been around for centuries, bringing the wearer protection or even good luck! I love collecting and adding things that may or may not relate to one another in a piece. This collection of copper charms are suspended from a long curb chain and dance beneath hammered copper links.

Instructions:
1. Cut a length of chain, 27 ½” using the nipper tool.
2. Add a trigger clasp to one end with a jump ring and a jump ring to the other.
3. Open a jump ring, slipping on another jump ring and the small hammered link, close the jump ring.
4. Open the loose jump ring, slipping it into the large hammered link, close the jump ring.
5. Create a 3-jump ring link, by opening one jump ring, slipping on two, close the jump ring.
6. Open one of the end jump rings, slipping it into the large hammered link, close the jump ring.
7. Open the other end jump ring, slipping it into the medium hammered link, close the jump ring.
8. Attach the following charms onto the medium hammered link, with jump rings: Oak Leaf, Floating Lotus, Sunshine and the Fleur De Lis.
9. On a head pin, drop 4mm copper bead, Wild Rose Barrel, 4mm copper bead, start a loop on the mid part of the round nose pliers, slipping it on the medium hammered link between the Floating Lotus and Sunshine Charm, complete the wrap.
10. On a head pin, drop the Casbah bead, start a loop on the mid part of the round nose pliers, slipping it on the medium hammered link between the Sunshine and Fleur De Lis Charms, complete the wrap.
11. On a head pin, drop a 4mm copper bead, Rococo Square 4mm, Rococo Square 6mm, Rococo 4mm and 4mm copper bead, start a loop on the mid part of the round nose pliers, slipping it on the medium hammered link on the other side of the Fleur De Lis to.
12. Slip the “charmed unit” onto the chain through the small hammered link, to complete the necklace.
