Rating Very Poor Quality

The first one I purchased my husband tried to open one of the clamps and it instantly broke minutes after I put it together. Bought another one...same thing happened. NEVER BUY THIS!!! The plastic clamps were not made strong enough for the tension on the spring.

Rating A very handy tool!

I'd thought about getting one of these for a while, and after making a charm bracelet packed with dozens of autumn leaves, I realized it would have really helped. I appreciated that I could make an offer on the price. The product snapped together easily. It was well made with nice, tight clips. Took one star off because it is a little lightweight and while I don't anticipate any stability issues, I could see it might tip if it were bumped too hard.

This is the extra set of hands you wish you had. Since purchasing this, my designs have evolved, and I can do more intricate designs.

Rating Broke within the first minute of opening

Just got the Chain Sta and was excited to have something to hold chains.I set the posts in and checked the alligator clamps. The left one broke immediately. The plastic was too weak. Unless they make this stronger do not buy it - Now I have to figure out how to get in touch with the people to return it.

It is great but for my purpose it did need to be adjustable. If the poles could slide, it would have worked better. It did give me access when I hung my work over a longer chain.

Rating Super idea

I am so glad I purchased this item and not sure why I waited so long. I make feather earrings and am using it to hold them until needed. Super secure and quite easy to put together

Auntie's Beads had the best price on this item by far. Unfortunately I can't use it. It's a great idea but I use a lighted magnifying lamp to do my bead work - this item doesn't fit under my lamp.

Rating I ABSOLUTELY LOVE THIS PRODUCT!

I make a lot of charm bracelets and I always have to put my chain down, pick up a bead on a headpin with a loop at the top, then find what link the bead goes onto. With the Chain Sta, I don't have to put the bracelet down and lose my place in the chain. You can also count and place a bead in the middle of the chain. When you purchase the Chain Sta, you need to assemble it. You have to push the arms down hard into the holes on the base. I highly recommend this item to anyone working with chain.
