The Swarovski Twist pendant is the centerpiece of this necklace, but the Surf and Sand Miyuki mix is the star of the show! Rebecca asked me to make a necklace similar to this for her and I loved it so much I just had to pass it along so everyone could enjoy it!
1. Cut 2 strands of beading wire measuring about 20 inches each. Find the smallest beads in your mix--these will be about the size of 11/0 seed beads--and string 13-14 of them on the center of both pieces of wire. Take both pieces of wire through the hole in the Twist pendant. Make sure all the ends of your wires are even; the seed beads should be centered on the wires. The pendant should be centered on the seed beads.
2. String a 6mm cube onto all 4 wires. Pull your wires apart so you have 2 on one side and 2 on the other. String a small seed bead (again one of the size 11/0) onto both wires on one side. String a small seed bead onto both wires on the other side.
3. Separate your strands out so you have 4 separate strands. String 8 inches worth of seed beads on each of your 4 strands.
NOTE: This will make your necklace about 17 inches in length. If you would like it longer, string another inch of seed beads on each strand.
4. Put a crimp bead and a seed bead at the end of each wire. Run each of your wires through the appropriate loops on the toggle clasp. Then be sure to run your wires back down through the seed bead, crimp bead, and a few more seed beads. Crimp. Trim excess wire.
5. For a more consistent--and fun--look try twisting the strands so they match the twists and turns in the pendant!

Swarovski Crystal Cubes, 6mm, Golden Shadow (1 piece)
Miyuki Multi Bead Mix, Surf and Sand (1.5 to 2 bags)
Beadalon 19-strand Wire, 30 ft., .015, Metallic Satin Copper (2 pieces measuring about 20 inches each)
