You can use any color of 8mm bicones and 4mm bicones that you wish. The crystal ab superduos work great because they go with anything, but you can change the color of those as well, if you wish. These would be great for a beach wedding.

  • Cut a 36 inch piece of clear elastic stringing material.
  • String on your beads in the following pattern: 4mm bicone, silver round bead, 4mm bicone, 8mm bicone, 4mm bicone, silver round bead, 4mm bicone, 8mm bicone, 4mm bicone, silver round, etc. until you have string 6 of the 8mm bicones. End on a 4mm bicone.
  • Now string on a superduo. String on a silver round, a 4mm bicone, a silver round and then another superduo. Continue this pattern until you have strung 9 superduos. End on a silver round.
  • For the loop that will go around your toe, string three 4mm bicones, a silver round, three 4mm bicones, a silver round, etc. until you have strung twelve 4mm bicones. End on a silver round and then string back through the last superduo. Complete the pattern going up the center and around the back of the ankle just as you did on the other side. When you reach the end, string on a large hole spacer. Complete two overhand knots to finish the bracelet. Put a dab of zap-a-gap on the knot and slide it underneath the spacer. Trim the excess elastic. Complete all steps for a matching piece.

    Love it!!
Great idea! I was just wondering if it wouldn't be more comfortable if the around the toe part was softer than the bicones' sharp edges . .. maybe tubes or rounds. Such a good idea . . love it!!

    Questions and Answers

Q: I was wondering what size shoe do you wear? I know they stretch BUT??? Thanks!
    Asked by: Ann - 7/6/2014
A: It may be wise to measure the top of the foot from ankle to toe so that you are sure you get the right amount of beads on top. The average anklet size, that is around the ankle is usually about 10". Our "model" foot was about an size 8. Karla
