Brick Stitch Video, Part 1

Part Number:VIDEO-0001

I will demonstrate the brick stitch or as some call it, the Cheyenne stitch. We will make earrings by decreasing the rows thus creating triangles that will be sewn together and then we'll add Swarovski Crystal Briolette Beads that dangle to the bottom. See Part 2 for the continuation of this video.

Tips and Tricks:
  • You can find free graph paper for brick stitch online.

Karla, you're the greatest
I seem to understand most stitches only when I see your videos. THank you so much. I wish I was located a bit closer to AUnties Beads...But there's one question I have: can you do a Brick Stitch Bracelet/Ring (without decreases) sometime? Thanks again and in advance, Susanne

Easy Earrings
This stitch is easy and fast! I love seeing how woven pieces "evolve", and this one is so much more basic than you'd think.
