Bracelet Memory Wire, Medium
Item Id: JMBT-1Z review 4 Review(s) Write a Review Write a Review
Product Description:
Stainless Steel bracelet memory wire, one ounce. Approximately 75 coils. Memory wire holds its form so your bracelet needs no clasp.

Usage Guide:

Bead onto this thin, tempered stainless steel wire to create chokers, bracelets, anklets, and rings that make a bold bead statement. Rigid Remembrance memory wire is corrosion and tarnish-resistant and, like a spring, it snaps back to its original form when expanded and released.

Use Memory Wire Shears to cut Memory Wire. Made in the U.S.A. by Beadalon. See our Memory Wire Technique page for detailed instructions.

The the 2 inch diam bracelet is perfect. I've used 2 1/4 and found it's too big. Glad I found this product here. Thank you.

So easy to make a quick bracelet. You don't have to worry about the fit. I finish the ends by glueing on memory wire bead caps.

Q: What is the diameter of the memory wire itself? What size crimp bead would fit the wire?
Asked by: - 10/20/2013 (Submit an answer)
A: You would use wire looping pliers with memory wire as opposed to crimp beads. We recommend checking out the video above to learn how to use memory wire.

Q: Does anyone know the gauge of this memory wire?
Asked by: - 10/21/2013 (Submit an answer)
A: Memory wire is generally 22 gauge. It usually will accommodate most 4mm and high semi precious stones. Pearls are a different matter depending on the pearl itself. I found the higher grade of pearl the smaller the hole is. Hope this helps.

Q: What do you mean by 2" in diameter, how long are the coils?
Asked by: - 5/4/2014 (Submit an answer)
A: Depends on how many loops you buy. 1 loop is once around your wrist. If you buy 75 loops (and don't cut it)it will go around your wrist 75 times. Patricia Rosenberg

A: Medium memory wire is very small. It is best suited for making bracelets for teens and small adults. It is also good for making cuff style bracelets such as the Beachy Keen bracelet project.

Q: The last memory wire I used wore off at the ends and was a copper color. I was using #11 beads. Apparently it wasn't stainless steel. Is the wire solid stainless steel? Thank you. Patricia Rosenberg
Asked by: - 7/22/2014 (Submit an answer)
A: This is the information I found from Beadalon, the vendor that we get Memory Wire from:

Remembrance Memory Wire is stainless steel wire, made into coils, and sized for rings, bracelets, and necklaces. The diameters are given in ranges to account for the variations in the manufacturing process. Remembrance is made in the USA, and is the highest quality available.

Steel Memory Wire is a carbon steel wire that has been plated with silver, antique brass color, and gold color. It is made into coils, and sized for rings, bracelets, and necklaces. The diameters are given in ranges to account for the variations in the manufacturing process. This wire is ideal when you want the shimmer and shine of a plated wire.
