For a tool costing less than $5, I definitely got more than I was expecting. These pliers are great for making larger gauge wire spirals IF you plan to do some forging. But they are particularly useful in a two-plier application--like opening difficult jump rings or sturdy links on chain. I use these in my non-dominant hand to grip/steady the piece.
Minus one star for the flange at the bottom of the handles; it can get pretty uncomfortable after prolonged use.

I have an electronics manufacturing plant and have searched for a very thin but sturdy pair of flat nosed pliers to use for bending pre-tinned wire. These are perfect for the job. My techs love the way they fit in their hands and the crisp tight turns they acheive when they bend the wire. I like them because they aren't flimsey like some of the other pliers we've tried. They are definately an asset to us. |

This was a great buy for me. I use them with round nose pliers for s.silver jump rings as they give more surface area and eliminate scaring of the ring. Great price, great item. |

Sorry, but no I would not recommend these pliers. They were rough and marred my sterling silver wire.
At least the pair that was sent to me were bad. |
