This is the best stretchy cord I have ever used. It's a never fail product and worth the money. I heve never had a customer call me to say that their bracelet came apart. I highly recommend Elastoma.

Beadsmith Elastoma .8mm
This elastic thread is terrific. I am using it to entertain 3 pre-teens who are visiting their family. We are making lovely bracelets for them to wear and take back for their friends. Works out perfectly! Strong!

Elastoma
I've used a number of different types of beading elastic string and this product is by far and away the best. I would highly recommend it for beading bracelets and necklets.

Nurse's Lanyards
I've made over 50 beaded lanyards for nurses where my sister works. Since they need to be pulled to swipe the badges they but on these, this cord is perfect. It is easy to tie off and strong enough that none of my lanyards have broken yet, with strong use.

Questions and Answers

Q: I have used this product for several bracelets, but am not happy with the large knot I seem to have, after tying the Elastoma. I see at the bottom of the description page, you show using the 2X2mm crimp bead for this product. However I see you have a crimp bead sized especially for this product, in your crimp bead section. What is the difference between the two?
Asked by: Mary F. Mathis - 5/19/2015
A: Elastoma, Beadsmith was the first stretchy product that you were able to crimp just using a regular 2x2 crimp bead. Meaning the material was specifically designed to handle the crimp. Beadalon then came out with a crimp bead designed for their stretchy product, Elasticity. The crimps you see are specifically designed to work with it. So the Elastoma I would recommend just regular crimps.
