Already reordered twice and will order more in the future. Excellent quality, durable yet flexible and the thickness is just right. I use it for one, two and three strands bracelets.

The Best Wire EVER
I accidentally purchased this wire awhile ago, but fell in love with it and now it is the only wire I buy. It is very strong and so darn flexible. As other's say, it does not kink. I use it exclusively. Worth every penny.

I was using another brand of 49 strand wire I bought at a local bead business for just a bit less. But their prices keep changing!
For me this is the best wire I use for all my creation. You just can't go wrong with this purchase. Happy beading!

I was surprised at how much I love working with this wire. Like other reviewers have said, it's very supple and hangs nicely, doesn't kink, strong so I'm not worried about it breaking and I like the nylon coating. It helps the beads slide on smoother.

artistic wire purchase
The only complaint i have about the wire is that is seems to have a waxy film on it. I made a pendant and as soon as i started twisting it i noticed stuff flaking off of it?

Beadalon 49- strand bead stringing wire
I love the Beadalon 49-strand beading wire better than any other beading wire. I won't use anything else. It is very strong and flexible. I use it on necklaces, bracelets, key chains and purse charms. I'm sure in the future I will find many other uses as well. I have never been disappointed in it's performance. In fact I use it as a selling point for its durability.

Favorite wire weight
I like to use this weight wire when designing. the 49 strand is the most supple and easy to use. Your finished piece lays naturally with no kinks.

Beadalon 49-strand Wire, 30 ft., .018
I love working with this wire. In fact, I very seldom work with any other. It works well for the necklaces I make. I strongly reccommend this. I never counted, but 30 ft. makes several necklaces. Takes me a while to run out.

Q:I am new to beading & my first project is a beaded eyeglasses chain. I understand I need 49 strand - this makes sense. I'm unsure as to .015 vs. .018. Can someone advise me? Does it depend on the size beads I'm stringing? My spacers have a TINY inner diameter. Help?!?
A: You are definitely on the right path. 49-strand is a supple yet sturdy beading wire and is preferred by professionals. The difference between .015" and .018" has to do with the diameter of the wire itself. You will find that you will use .018" most of the time, especially if you work with gemstones and glass beads a lot. .015" wire is best for beads with smaller holes - spacers, seed beads and pearls. It sounds like you will need a .015" for this project, but I would keep both handy because you will need them!
