Magic tool
I purchased this item a month ago as I had a large order for bracelets, I had never felt confident using the other crimp tool and covers, also did not like the finished look. This tool is magic and so quick and easy to use. I feel confident now that my bracelets will not break, thank you again for great service, Regards Kay

Crimps Like Magic
Wow! So many reviews & so many beaders having trouble. Ladies it's not the tool & I doubt if it is you. So "WHAT ELSE" ? Use the Sterling 2X2 mm crimps & I bet you end up with a nice round bead. The silver filled are okay once you get the hang of it but because the Sterling is softer is why I think it works best. I very seldom use anything but the sterling crimps. If you are fraying the wire you are turning & strangling it. Use a soft touch. Watch Karla. Nice & easy. Good Luck!

BeadSmith Magical Crimp Forming Tool For .014"-.015" Wire
I've used this tool and the one for larger diameter wire. As far as I'm concerned they are the best crimp tools made. As stated by some, they don't make the round crimps on first try. If you don't follow directions, and use different components (wire size, crimps, etc.)and don't have the patience to follow the directions don't blame the tool. I have been using both sizes and get great results.

magical crimp forming tool.
This tool doesn't work for me. I have tried it may times and the crimps do not form beads, and in most cases they just fall apart. I am VERY dissapointed in this product.

need more pratice
I tried this twice and still need more pratice in gettign the crimp to round out. I hope practice and patience will make it a more likeable tool

Magical Crimp Forming Tool

need practise
First time i used it my crimps were a bit hit and miss. But I'm sure with more practise I'll get the nack.

Frustrating
I didn't find this tool all that easy to use, and I don't consider myself a beading doofus. I'm sure practice makes perfect, but at this point I still prefer crimp covers for a nicely finished look.

Magical Crimp Forming Tool
I was so excited to find a tool that forms a little bead when you crimp! I am still not too comfortable using this tool, but with practice, I am sure I will get the hang of it. Auntie's Beads offered the tool at a price that is lower than any of the local bead shops offer. I love to shop where the quality is high and the prices are affordable. Thanks Auntie's Beads!

Magical Crimp Forming Tool
I watched the how-to video a many times and read all the reviews on this tool and I still can't get the hang of it. I was able to get a "sort of" round bead but it still had rough edges. Forget "magical"it will be a "miracle" if I get it to work.

Nothing else like it!!!
This is a must have tool. It took very little practice to turn out a beautiful beaded crimp. Everything looks so much more finished now. I am so glad to have found the Bead Smith Magical Crimp Forming Tool and the only place I have seen it is here at Auntie's Beads. Thanks to Karla Schafer too, for the video where I first saw this tool demonstrated.

Having Trouble with this tool!
While I love the idea of this tool, I too am having troubles using this tool. When I make the "bead", I fray the stringing wire. It has resulted in breakage and returns on items. While I think it may be that I'm using it wrong, I'm disappointed that I'm having such trouble with it. I will continue to practice with it using inexpensive 2x2 crimps until I get it right!

Not for me
Like one of your other customers, I tried this time and time again and could not make the crimp to look like a bead. The ends were very sharp. I watched the video, but still cannot figure it out. I guess its not for me either.

They are magical!
I consider myself a beginning jeweler and don't feel comfortable crimping unless I use these :0). When I use these, after watching the
video
, I just go around and around until I see a little ball - then, I know that the crimp is complete and secure. What a great little tool!

My Go-To Tool
I absolutely LOVE this tool! It might just be my favorite. I know it says to use it with smaller wire diameters, but I have found it works the best with
.018 wire
. It makes the perfect round bead and
crimps
the wire very well. I even use the end of the tool to help hold or pull
Beadalon wire
. This is a MUST for any beader!

Magical Crimp Forming Tool
I've had this tool for some time now and it is not what I'd expected. I watched
the video on Auntie's Beads
and wanted the tool immediately. Once I got it, I was not able to make any beads and was very disappointed. I've tried it over and over and still no results like the video. I suppose this tool is not for me. I love the video's - please keep that up!!! They are helpful even when the tool is not!
