What You're Saying:

"I have been a Beader's Advantage Member for years now and I love it. I send an order about once a week and sometimes more but I NEVER shop for beads elsewhere. Aunties Beads is the best I have ever found and I love the speed on shipping, quality of beads and beading supplies and the ordering accuracy on my orders that Aunties Beads provides. Never a day goes by without checking out the Aunties Beads website. The Advantage program cannot be beat."
- Joy from Shelby, Iowa

"... I'm never disappointed in the quality of your merchandise, the price points of your merchandise, the speed at which you deliver, the superior packaging materials and the little surprises you always include. Thank you for quality products and experiences."
- Diana from Central Ohio

"I couldn't believe how fast my order came. I was very pleased with everything I ordered and I definitely will be ordering alot more. Love the videos, they're alot of fun and helpful. The website is awesome! Thank You!"
- Chris from Missouri

"I love ordering through auntiesbeads.com! I live in a town where the closest thing to a bead store (hobby lobby) is 30 minutes away and the quality and service aren't up to par. With your website I can get most everything I need in a very short period of time and with anything that isn't available I can sign up for emails to let me know when they become available. Thank you for being my go-to bead supplier!"
- Michelle via mobile

I so much appreciate the fast service and the fast shipping when I order from Aunties's Beads! Absolutely love Beaders' Advantage!
- Shelby from Oregon

Great service, quick delivery & most of all, I LOVE Karla Kam! Karla is great and the videos are so clear and helpful! Love "our" bead chat group! Great support and encouragement! You're the best!

Basic Bead Stringing

Basic Bead Stringing - Step 1

Cut your wire to the desired length adding a few extra inches to work with. Thread on a crimp bead and one end of your clasp. Bring the wire back through the crimp bead.
Basic Bead Stringing Step 3
Basic Bead Stringing Step 2

Slide the crimp bead down to the clasp and place the crimp bead inside the inner cut out of the crimp tool. Press down using firm pressure once to form a half moon shape.

Basic Bead Stringing Step 4

Rotate the crimp bead one half turn and place in the outer cut out of the crimp tool. Press down again to close the half moon.
Basic Bead Stringing Step 6
Basic Bead Stringing Step 5

You may then use the very end of the crimp tool or flat nose pliers to press again to ensure that the crimp is secure. We also suggest that you pull on the clasp and wire to make sure that the crimp is secure before stringing your beads.

Basic Bead Stringing Step 4

Thread on 1-2 beads over both wires, using your nipper tool cut the wire as close as possible to the bead. This will hide any wire tail from showing.
Basic Bead Stringing Step 5Basic Bead Stringing Step 6

String on the remainder of your beads, add a crimp bead and the other end of your clasp. Bring the wire back through the crimp bead and 1-2 more beads. Pull on the wire tail and clasp to move the crimp bead close to the clasp and crimp.

Basic Bead Stringing Step 4

To make sure that your bracelet has some movement and is not too tight we recommend that you squeeze the bracelet in your hands before the final crimp. Crimp and use your nipper tool to cut off the remaining tail.

You may choose to add a crimp cover to give your piece a more finished look. Use your crimp tool to hold the crimp cover, place it over the crimp bead and gently press the crimp cover until it is closed over the crimp bead.

Crimp Cover
By accident, I had bought crimp covers and never knew what they were for. Thanks to these wonderfully simple instructions I can now turn many of my first projects into more professional looking pieces of jewellry. Thank you so much for again and again inspiring me! Because of you I know what to do with the money that is left at the end of a month - I spend it with you!
