Using a heavy pair of chain nose pliers from your garage and your chain nose pliers, open two links of chain. Open as you would a jump ring, by sliding them apart, one side away from you while the other towards you. -
Place one link of chain onto your pendant and one on the key ring, again using both pairs of pliers. -
Cut an 8" piece of the wire and start a loop using the round nose pliers, slip the link with the pendant attached onto the wire and wrap a loop, about two to three wraps, trimming the excess wire with the nipper tool. -
Slip on a bead and start another loop as in the above step and slip it into the link on the key ring, wrap accordingly to complete the piece! Bead Verison: -

Place one link of chain onto the key ring, again using both pairs of pliers, close the other link and set aside. -
Cut an 8" piece of wire and make a small flat coil using the tip of the round nose pliers. Slip on the bead and start a loop. -
Slip the closed link of chain onto the loop and close the loop with two or three wraps. -
Use the reamaining wire to create another loop, slipping the link with the bead attached onto it and close as above. -
Slip on antoher bead, make a loop and slip it onto the link on the key ring and close the loop accordingly to complete the piece. Attach the key rings to the zipper pulls to bling your backpack!
