Where I would normally give a rating of a 3 here with other company I am My rating here is still a 5. I have been I guess I didn't read everything the description. When I got the brass color I was surprised. BUT, the quality of the wire is awesome and easy to work with. I am please non the less. I will keep looking for the gray gun metal.

Your description of each item is always so helpful. Although named as gunmetal this really works well as brass which is what I needed.

Questions and Answers

Q: If this is actually antique brass/bronze in color, why do you list it as gunmetal?? VERY different in colors, and misleading color listing.
Asked by: Shelby Crecraft - 9/1/2013
A: That color was actually named by Beadalon, the distributor of Artistic Wire. In all of our extended descriptions for gunmetal artistic wire, we do include the information that the color is actually closest to - and meant to be used with - antique brass beads, findings and chain.
