About This Project

I am a huge fan of simple and elegant jewelry pieces. These Cherry Quartz freeform rondelles are so beautiful I didn't want to distract from them with many other beads. They look perfect on gold beading chain. One of my favorite parts about this project is that you will have enough beads and chain left over to make the matching bracelet.

  1. If you have never worked with beading chain before, I recommend watching this video which shows how to add end caps.
  2. Cut your beading chain to the length you want your necklace to be. I made mine 16 inches. String on a pattern of Cherry Quartz and gold rounds as shown. Keep a bead reamer handy because some of the holes may have trouble fitting over the chain.
  3. Use your pliers to add end caps to both ends of the wire. Use a jump ring or a split ring to connect your lobster clasp.
